The Moto Guzzi V7 Special captures the essence of the original model with its classic chrome accents and glossy liveries. Together with modern technology, authenticity, and beauty, the classic lines that have mesmerised motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide for nearly 70 years perfectly capture the essence of the Moto Guzzi DNA.
Made with pride at the new Mandello del Lario facility.
The chrome passenger grab handle, the spoked wheels with glossy channels and black hubcaps, and the headlight with its chrome frame and DRLs that produce the recognisable Moto Guzzi eagle silhouette are all examples of the V7 Special's classic design. The V engine is framed by the largest gasoline tank in the class, a 21-liter tank, and the bike's lines are elegantly accentuated by the short rear mudguard and exhaust terminals. Moto Guzzi's famously exacting attention to detail is seen in the machined cooling fins on the cylinder heads and the ignition key with their insignia.
The only 90° transverse air-cooled V-twin with shaft drive powers the Moto Guzzi V7 Special. Its 853 cc engine, which has been upgraded to Euro 5+ requirements, produces 67.3 horsepower at 6900 rpm and 79 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. It excels in mid- and lower-range speeds. To put it briefly, enhanced efficiency, enhanced performance, and of course, the unique Moto Guzzi sound.
The Moto Guzzi V7 Special's electronics have been refined to the point that riding is completely adjustable. The Moto Guzzi Traction Control (MGCT), which may be turned off, cooperates with the Riding Modes (ROAD and RAIN) to offer assistance in any situation, and the multi-map Ride-by-Wire throttle guarantees the best possible power delivery. Cruise control improves comfort on lengthy trips, and ABS guarantees brake control. The bike has a computerised instrument panel and complete LED illumination with DRLs.
